Job Overview

We are looking for experienced welders who can perform advanced welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core) to join a variety of metals and alloys. The role requires adherence to safety precautions, the ability to produce welds that pass visual and non-destructive testing, and strong attention to detail. A welding test interview is required.

Rate

$20/hr - $27/hr

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, weld symbols and specifications to properly layout, fabricate and weld within allowable tolerance.
• Must be able to qualify in the 6G position with TIG.
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and codes.
• Perform intermediate-level fabrication and assembly work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with oxyacetylene and plasma cutting techniques, including torch setup, adjustment and safety practices.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
• Able to determine that all welds meet ASME specifications.
• Must produce x-ray quality welds with a high passing rate.
• Position requires overtime, including Saturday.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Education and Experience

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW).
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.).
• Minimum five years welding and fabrication experience.
• Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.

• Hours may include overtime; location operates in a warehouse environment with material handling equipment and various tools and machinery.
