  • Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and machine readiness.
  • Evaluate opportunities to bring outsourced machining operations in-house to improve cost, quality, and lead times.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, production planning, and senior management to meet delivery and performance goals.
  • Establish and maintain safe work practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, troubleshooting, and machining processes.
  • Experience with CNC mills, lathes, mill-turn equipment, Swiss machines, or other precision machining equipment. Multi-axis experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a machine shop, job shop, or contract manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, tooling, materials planning, and manufacturing cost control.
  • Ability to use operational metrics to identify problems, improve efficiency, and increase production capacity.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience managing machinists, operators, or technical manufacturing teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $,000, with flexibility up to $165,000 for candidates with exceptional CNC programming and leadership experience.
