3rd Shift - 10:30 pm to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Starting pay $24.70/hr. # of Openings:
1. Plant location:
Murrysville, PA.
- Set-up and operate the Pad Print Machines (including loading and unloading) and support equipment used to print logos on hard hats.
- Interpret job related documentation, pull material to be processed, mix inks, and make clichés.
- Perform set-up and adjustments on machines to include installation of printing plates and troubleshooting to create acceptable logos, recognize process deficiencies and make compensating adjustments, and fully inspect product.
- Maintain relevant documentation, utilize computer software and clean up machine and work area.
- Responsible for quality, productivity, material handling, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Must meet all Plant certification and progression criteria.
- Proven ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
- Distinguish between different colors and various shades of color.
- Infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Perform standard software operations.
- Use power and hand tools and operate simple machines.
- Effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.
- Prioritize and organize work, work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform lockout / tag-out.
- Obtain a fork truck certification.
- Operate at a Level II standard that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- Wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required.
- Proven ability to understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months previous manufacturing or related experience.
