Construction Equipment Shop Technician

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Equipment Shop Technician.

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for shop positions working on Diesel engines, construction equipment, and supporting machinery.

This role focuses on providing Diesel Engine and mechanical repairs for customers in the mining, construction, and paving industries.

We will provide necessary training and specialty tools to ensure your success as a technician at Pennsylvania's largest equipment company.

• Diagnose and repair equipment independently and successfully
• Overhaul engines and major components
• Operate and maintain earthmoving and construction equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring satisfaction
• Utilize knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
• Maintain intermediate computer skills

This position involves working in an industrial environment with exposure to environmental conditions such as noise, heat, cold, and potential hazards.

• Stamina for physical activities like sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, and pulling
• Motor coordination and eye-hand-foot coordination
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Work overtime as needed

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Relevant experience from technical schools, military background, or previous jobs is acceptable.
