MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER INSTRUMENT M/F
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar for a Maintenance Planning Engineer - Instrument. Prime responsibility is planning daily maintenance activities with the goal of right-first-time job performance to maximize equipment reliability, while improving maintenance tool time and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor and non-labor resources including materials and services.
The role requires the ability to remove uncertainty to execute planning in a systematic, efficient and economical way with a forecasted maintenance job planning approach. The candidate should independently develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules. SAP Maintenance module experience is required, preferably SAP S4-HANA, including order planning, purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call-off orders, service orders, and maintenance-related master data creation, updating, and deletion.

Profile - Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Engineering degree (12+4 years) in Instrumentation. 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries. Hands-on experience with the Work Order part of EAM (enterprise asset maintenance) module of SAP is preferable. Competency and work experience in ERP - SAP, preferably SAP S4-HANA including maintenance-related master data creation, updating, and deletion in SAP.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Plan daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize delays.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and services for maintenance work.
- Develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance to meet budgets and schedules.
- Work with SAP Maintenance module for order planning, service entries, call-offs, and master data management.
- Ensure right-first-time maintenance execution and improve maintenance tool time and work quality.
