Responsibilities- Prime responsibility for planning of daily maintenance activities to ensure 'right-first-time' job performance, maximizing equipment reliability and improving maintenance 'tool time' and 'work quality' by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor and non-labor resources including materials and services.
- Remove uncertainty to execute planning in a systematic, efficient and economical way with forecasted maintenance job planning approach.
- Independently develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules.
- Competency and work experience in SAP Maintenance module, preferably in SAP S4 HANA including order planning, purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call off orders, service orders and maintenance related master data creation, updating and deletion.
- Establish, maintain and improve Maintenance Plans within the area of responsibility.
- Develop equipment preventive maintenance schedule.
- Based on daily new work requests from production, prepare detailed activity break ups along with resource estimates for internal and external manpower, materials and services.
- Prepare work pack for each work order.
- Coordinate and review work plans for assigned maintenance activities; evaluate planned work, methods, procedures and oversee spare parts inventory.
- Participate in maintenance contract handling, including scope development, specifications, procurement initiation, technical evaluation, and support superiors during the management approval process.
- Coordinate contractor supply of manpower and/or services for daily work order planning.
- Verify and process invoices submitted by contractors.
- Communicate and coordinate with end users to ensure spares and materials are available for scheduled activities and provide feedback to MRP for cost effective replenishment.
- Update item master, including specifications, bill of materials, spare parts criticality and new item codes in ERP as required.
- Conduct periodic inventory review and adjust buffer stock levels with end users.
- Coordinate with supply chain department and contractors for spare procurement.
- Bachelor's Engineering degree in Mechanical (12+4 years).
- 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industry.
- Hands on experience with the work order part of EAM (Enterprise Asset Maintenance) module of SAP preferred.
- Competency in SAP, preferably SAP S4 HANA, including maintenance related master data creation, updating and deletion.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong computer literacy.
