Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company in Muscat. You will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department ensuring accuracy and compliance with all local and international financial regulations. Your expertise in financial analysis and reporting will play a crucial role in making strategic business decisions. You will also collaborate with other departments to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve overall financial performance.

• Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Collaborate with other departments to identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Train, develop and supervise junior accounting staff

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting/finance roles
• Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Fluency in English is required
