Accountant – Manufacturing / Factory Accounts

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in factory/manufacturing accounting to join our client's finance team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing manufacturing accounts, inventory valuation, cost accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the manufacturing facility.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle manufacturing cost accounting, product costing, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory transactions, stock valuation, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger schedules.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing or factory accounting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
