Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain more experience in the field of accounting.

• Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of financial transactions
• Reconciling discrepancies in financial records and resolving any issues
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Communicating with colleagues and clients regarding any financial inquiries or concerns
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in Oman
