Indian Accountant - Contract Position in Muscat

We are a growing company in Muscat seeking an Indian Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. As an Indian Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's financial records and transactions. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Process invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws

• Must be an Indian national currently living in Muscat
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant preferably in the UAE or GCC region
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quick Books preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
