To support the Finance Manager in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the entity and to ensure smooth business continuity in their absence The Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate accounting execution financial reporting support regulatory compliance preparation and supervision of accounting staff

• 1 Accounting amp Month-End Closing Prepare and post journal entries Perform and review general ledger reconciliations Reconcile bank accounts receivables payables and intercompany balances Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records
• 2 Financial Reporting Support Prepare draft monthly management reports for review by Finance Manager Assist in preparation of financial statements Support budget tracking and variance analysis Maintain financial schedules and working papers
• 3 VAT amp Tax Compliance Support Prepare VAT calculations and reconciliation schedules Maintain proper VAT documentation and supporting files Assist in Corporate Tax computations and documentation Ensure timely preparation of compliance submissions for review by Finance Manager
• 4 Treasury amp Payment Processing Prepare vendor payment schedules and payment runs Monitor daily cash balances Assist in cash flow tracking and reporting Coordinate routine banking matters
• 5 Audit Coordination Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Maintain organized accounting files for audit readiness Assist Finance Manager in responding to audit queries
• 6 Team Supervision Supervise junior accountants Review reconciliations and postings Ensure accounting deadlines are met Provide guidance and support to accounting staff
• 7 Business Continuity Responsibility In the absence of the Finance Manager the Senior Accountant will Oversee daily finance operations Ensure payroll processing is completed on time Coordinate payment processing and banking activities Monitor compliance deadlines Escalate material matters to management when required

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
  ACCA / CPA / CMA (part-qualified or qualified preferred).
• 5 8 years relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations (Oman).
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong reconciliation and documentation skills.
