Position: Document Controller (Omani Only)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller (Omani) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling, tracking, and maintaining all project documents throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires ensuring that documents are accurate, properly stored, distributed to relevant stakeholders, and maintained in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality management standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an effective document control system for project documentation.
  • Receive, register, classify, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Maintain document registers, transmittals, correspondence logs, and revision histories.
  • Ensure all project drawings, technical documents, reports, specifications, and correspondence are properly recorded and filed.
  • Control document revisions and ensure only the latest approved versions are available for use.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding document submissions and approvals.
  • Monitor document review and approval status and follow up with relevant parties.
  • Prepare document transmittals and ensure timely distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain both electronic and hard-copy filing systems in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support quality audits by providing accurate documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, client document control procedures, and company quality requirements.
  • Generate periodic document control reports and maintain document status dashboards.
  • Protect confidential information and ensure proper security of project records.
  • Assist project teams with administrative documentation and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Omani (mandatory).
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in construction, engineering, infrastructure, water, wastewater, roads, bridges, buildings, or industrial projects.
  • Experience working with consultants or contractors is preferred.
