The Fixed Asset Management Assistant is responsible for the maintenance accurate and up-to-date records of organization s fixed assets management and control of assets throughout their lifecycle

• Maintain Accurate records of fixed assets management in the University ERP Inventory system ensuring all the new assets acquired are registered into ERP system with necessary information
• Classification of assets in line with accounting and reporting standards
• Coordinate the tagging and identification before assigning to department or users
• Maintain proper records of assets tag number and their corresponding asset records
• Process and maintain records of asset transfers between departments locations or custodians
• Assist with the documentation and processing of obsolete damaged or surplus assets for disposal
• Assist in reconciling fixed asset records with financial department

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, with a GPA of minimum 3.0 out of 4.
• An IELTS score of 5.5 is a mandatory requirement.
• Basic understanding of accounting and/or inventory concepts is preferred.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• IELTS qualification is preferred according to the University s recruitment requirements.
• Prior experience related to the inventory is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with good academic qualifications and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
• Priority shall be given to candidates having a minimum of one year experience in inventory management.
