Lead Site Engineer – Roads

Position Summary

Managing day‑to‑day site operations for road construction works, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with project specifications. Acts as a key link between site teams, engineers, and project management.

• Oversee daily construction activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and method statements.
• Supervise subcontractors and site workforce.
• Track daily and weekly work progress.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and schedules.
• Maintain site records (daily reports, inspections, materials).
• Support preparation of as‑built drawings.
• Assist in quantity take‑offs and measurements.
• Identify site issues and propose practical solutions.
• Handle unexpected field challenges efficiently.
• Minimize delays due to technical or execution issues.
• Check setting out roads, structures, and utilities.
• Coordinate with surveyors for accuracy and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods and materials.
• Familiar with asphalt works, grading, and drainage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
