Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 3–5 years of experience in Oman to support cost management and commercial control across our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of local market rates, contracts, and procurement practices, and will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, project budgets; conduct feasibility cost studies; analyze drawings and specifications. - Tendering & Procurement:
Prepare tender documents, manage tendering process, evaluate bids, support contract negotiations. - Cost Control & Reporting:
Monitor project costs against budgets; track variations, claims, change orders; prepare regular cost reports and forecasts. - Contract Administration:
Administer contracts, review interim payment applications and certifications, ensure compliance. - Value Engineering:
Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality; recommend alternative materials, methods, or design solutions. - Site Coordination:
Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities; work closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors.
- Cost Accuracy:
Estimates within ±5–10% of final project cost - Budget Control:
Projects delivered within approved cost limits - Procurement Efficiency:
Timely tendering and contract awards - Variation Management:
Controlled and justified change orders - Reporting Quality:
Accurate and timely cost reports - Commercial Risk:
Reduction in disputes and claims exposure
- 3–5 years of QS experience in Oman (mandatory)
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, contracts, and cost control
- Familiarity with local authorities, contractors, and market rates
- Experience in real estate / villa / mixed‑use projects preferred
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
- Membership or progress toward RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Salary Range: OMR 700/month (depending on experience)
- Housing Allowance: OMR (or provided)
- Transport Allowance: OMR

Reports to Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Working ConditionsMix of office and construction site; PPE required on site.
