Planning Engineer

Our client is a leading organisation in the real estate sector in Oman, with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. The company is part of a well-established family office with over 50 years of experience in real estate, encompassing residential, commercial, and hospitality assets.

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects, coordinating with various teams, and providing critical insights for project control and management.

• Develop and establish detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather project data and update schedules accordingly.
• Monitor project progress and compare it against planned schedules to identify delays or deviations.
• Analyze project data and prepare progress reports, forecasts, and schedule updates for senior management.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation based on project schedules.
• Ensure that all project activities are scheduled in accordance with contractual requirements and client specifications.
• Conduct schedule analysis and evaluate the impact of any changes or delays.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders regarding schedule status and updates.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in project planning and scheduling.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or contracting companies.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and contractual procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
