Greetings We have an opportunity for a QS position for the Oman location
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review BOQs
- quantity take-offs
- estimates
- and cost calculations for water pipeline projects Conduct detailed measurements of completed works and verify quantities against drawings and specifications Prepare
- evaluate
- and certify interim payment applications and subcontractor bills
- Monitor project costs
- budgets
- and commercial performance Manage and evaluate variation orders
- claims
- and additional works
- Review drawings
- specifications
- contracts
- and other project documentation to identify commercial implications Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and cost reports
- Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of water pipeline construction works
- 12 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- BE B Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Mandatory experience in Water Pipeline Projects
- Strong knowledge of BOQ quantity estimation measurements billing cost control variations and claims
- Candidates with GCC experience will have an added advantage
- 12+ years of relevant experience as a Quantity in Civil or Mechanical Engineering .Mandatory experience in Water Pipeline Projects.
