This role is responsible for selling airline tickets, assisting customers with flight bookings, providing travel information, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering accurate and timely ticketing support to passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell domestic and international airline tickets to customers.
- Handle flight reservations, rebooking, cancellations, and ticket issuance.
- Ensure correct fare calculation, taxes, and service charges.
- Assist customers with flight schedules, routes, baggage rules, and travel policies.
- Provide clear information about airline services, promotions, and offers.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Promote airline deals, packages, and special offers.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Use airline reservation systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre if applicable).
- Maintain accurate booking records and passenger data.
- Collect payments through approved methods.
- Issue tickets and invoices accurately.
- Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Handle flight changes, delays, cancellations, and refund requests.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and quickly.
- Work closely with airlines, travel partners, and internal sales team.
