Interior Designer

Looking for an Interior Designer with 4+ years of experience in Muscat.

Interior Designers will be primarily responsible for the conceptualization and creation of visual solutions for Fitout projects. The main duties include:

• Meeting with clients along with Sales & Business Development team for understanding the project requirements and design briefs.
• Sketching initial design ideas and using computer tools & software to create detailed technical drawings like Layout plan, Reflected Ceiling Plan, basic MEP drawings etc.
• Collaborating with Client & Sales team to develop and refine project design options.
• Choosing suitable materials and production methods, revising designs & drawings and improving functionality.
• BOQ Formation & Estimation of Quantities for various line items to help establishing the project cost.
• Participation in Value Engineering process to meet clients budget & helping team to secure the job.
• Staying updated with the latest design trends and advancements in materials & technology related to the industry.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and key deliverables concurrently to ensure timely completion & smooth handover.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the design process.

To qualify for a Designer position, candidates generally should possess the following educational background and certificates:

• A Bachelors or Diploma degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Advanced proficiency in design software AutoCAD.
• Industry-specific certifications that demonstrate a high level of expertise and commitment to continuing education in design may be preferred or required.
• Experience with 3D modeling and relevant software to generate 3d views for client presentation.
• Practical experience gained through internships or other hands-on projects can significantly enhance a candidates resume.
