Downe House Muscat is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Performing Arts to join our thriving Arts Department. The teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Music and Drama education across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. The post holder will inspire creativity, confidence and performance skills, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive performing arts curriculum in line with the ethos and standards of Downe House.

The ability to teach Drama at IGCSE level would be an advantage. The role also involves after-school activities, House competitions and school productions.

Experience across a range of artistic styles is required as the curriculum expands, and the post holder must be flexible and confident teaching across a range of specialisms. The role includes teaching IGCSE, A Level, and the Omani GED. No prior GED experience is required, as full training will be provided.
