The Sultan’s School seeks to appoint an experienced Primary teacher of Additional Educational Needs for August 2026. The Primary Additional Educational Needs teacher plays a vital role in supporting students with a diverse range of learning, behavioural, and developmental needs. The post‑holder ensures that all students receive high‑quality, inclusive provision that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working collaboratively with class teachers, leaders, and families, the role focuses on early identification, targeted intervention, and consistent monitoring to support every student’s progress and well‑being.

Visa Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years post‑qualifying teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (special education preferred)
  • Teacher qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent
  • Under 60 years of age (Visa purposes)
  • Safer recruitment checks such as confidential reference checks and criminal record checks will be undertaken

  • Experience supporting students with additional needs
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practice and intervention models
  • Willingness to collaborate and share outstanding practice with colleagues
  • Proven track record of demonstrating outstanding learning and teaching
