Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing MCBS s College of Business and Science with core responsibilities including:
- Teaching – Deliver high-quality and engaging instruction at the graduate and PhD levels in a dynamic academic environment. Classes are conducted in a hybrid format combining face‑to‑face and online delivery to cater to diverse student needs. This role requires expertise in utilizing advanced online learning platforms and cutting‑edge technologies to provide an exceptional educational experience.
- Curriculum Development – Develop innovative instructional materials and digital content tailored to business, management, quality management, innovation, strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
- Mentorship – Provide academic guidance, advising, and mentorship to graduate and PhD students, supporting their research and professional development.
- Research Supervision – Applicants must have substantial experience in supervising Master’s theses and PhD dissertations with evidence of successful postgraduate student supervision, research publication support, and participation in graduate research committees.
- Professional Development – Create and lead specialized workshops and short courses targeting specific professional groups and communities.
- Research – Contribute to the academic landscape through impactful research with expectations for publication in top‑tier peer‑reviewed journals. Candidates are also encouraged to develop research proposals and pursue funding opportunities in management and related fields.
- Service – Support departmental and institutional goals, including accreditation efforts and other academic service roles as needed.
Skills Required:
- A PhD in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience teaching graduate and PhD courses with a focus on business, management, innovation, strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
- A track record of impactful research and publications in Scopus and ISI‑indexed journals.
- A strong background in online teaching and e‑learning environments (preferred).
- Ability to incorporate industry insights into curriculum development and instruction.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering professional development workshops.
Associate Professor or Professor level depending on qualifications. A minimum of 5 years of academic experience is required for consideration at the Associate Professor rank. Evidence of a high research profile with recent publications in reputable journals is required. The candidate must hold the same or a comparable title in their current or most recent position.
