Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Indian Librarian to join our team in Muscat. As a librarian you will manage and organize our library resources, provide assistance to library patrons, and promote the use of library services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and organize all library resources including books, journals, and multimedia materials.
- Create cataloging systems for easy access to library resources.
- Assist library patrons with finding and using resources effectively.
- Promote the use of library services through outreach activities and events.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of library equipment and facilities.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with other libraries or organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must have own visa to work in Oman.
Competitive salary of $1,200 per month along with other benefits.
