Academic QualificationsBachelor's degree in English Language, English Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT), TESOL, TEFL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), PGCE, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, or an equivalent teaching certification is preferred. A Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field is an advantage. A valid IELTS certificate is required with an overall band score of at least 6.0 for Omani applicants and 7.0 for non-Omani applicants.
ExperienceA minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience. Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum or another recognized international curriculum is preferred. Experience preparing students for national or international examinations is an advantage.
Preferred CertificationsValid teaching license (where applicable). A valid IELTS certificate with an overall band score of at least 6.0 for Omani applicants and 7.0 for non-Omani applicants. Cambridge Professional Development training or certification. Safeguarding and Child Protection certification.
