This is a predominantly teaching-focused position to manage and support delivery of undergraduate postgraduate foundation and executive programs Applicants should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research Preference will be given to candidates with administrative experience The successful candidate is expected to
- Teach Modules Deliver Modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Cybersecurity and Cyber Forensics The normal teaching load is 3-4 modules per semester 2 semesters per academic year
- Supervise Projects Oversee undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations ensuring students receive guidance on their research methodologies and outcomes
- Engagement in Research Actively participate in scholarly research activities that lead to publications in peer reviewed indexed and ranked international journals and Conference within the field of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics that contributes to the University research output and enhances its academic reputation
- Collaborate for Grants Initiate and develop research collaborations write National and International research grant applications which enhance the university funding and research capabilities
- Curriculum Development Contribute significantly to design and development of new academic programs and curriculum
- Community Engagement Actively participate in service activities within the university and across professional and local communities for promoting the significance of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics
Educational Qualification
Educational Qualifications A PhD in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Systems or a related area from an internationally recognized university Certifications Professional certifications such as those from SANS e g GIAC Certified Incident Handler GIAC Penetration Tester CISSP CEH CISM etc are preferred demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development
