Contract English Teacher in Muscat
Are you a skilled and passionate English teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to teach in the beautiful city of Muscat? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced English teacher to join our team on a contract basis.
As an English teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that help students develop their language skills. You will also have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their language learning journey.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that are tailored to the needs of individual students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' confidence and academic growth
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the English language
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessments, and teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance evaluations
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with non-native speakers
- Native-level proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students from diverse backgrounds
This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the school, as well as visa sponsorship for non-Omani nationals. The school also offers professional development opportunities for teachers to continue growing in their careers.
