Male PE Teacher & Sports Coordinator
The Sultan's School in Oman is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Male PE Teacher & Sports Coordinator for January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity combining Secondary PE teaching with responsibility for coordinating and developing the school's competitive sports programme across Primary and Secondary. The successful candidate will teach approximately 16 PE periods per week alongside coordinating fixtures, tournaments, school teams and sporting events.
The Role:- Coordinating participation in the Muscat Primary and Secondary Sports Leagues
- Organising fixtures, tournaments and the school sporting calendar
- Supporting and developing school teams and sporting ECAs
- Organising school sporting events and competitions
- Developing opportunities for international sporting tours and tournaments
- Promoting and celebrating student sporting achievement
- Working closely with the Head of PE and colleagues to develop competitive sport across the school
We are looking for an organised and energetic teacher with strong leadership and communication skills and a genuine passion for sport, student development and sportsmanship. Experience teaching IGCSE and/or IBDP sport-related courses would be an advantage.

Requirements:- A relevant Bachelor's degree and recognised teaching qualification
- At least two years' post-qualification teaching experience
- Secondary PE teaching experience
- Ideally you will have some previous experience of coordinating or leading sport in your school
- A commitment to safeguarding and the wider life of the school
