The faculty will be part of the Academic department with the following responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement
- Undertake research activities and publish in reputable Scopus-indexed journals
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching research and community engagement
- Develop and deliver innovative teaching methods that promote student-centered learning
- Supervise student projects and provide academic advising
- Contribute to accreditation quality assurance and program development initiatives
- Utilize modern educational technologies and digital learning platforms effectively

To be eligible for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Master/PhD in Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, from a university recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Sultanate of Oman.
- The candidate s master s degree cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) should be no less than 3.20 on a 4-point scale or equivalent.
- Candidates must have at least two years of higher education teaching experience in Computer Engineering at recognized institutions of higher education, post-PhD.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) or related Computer Engineering fields is highly desirable.
- Preference will be given to those with significant contributions to scientific research and published work in Computer Engineering.
- The candidate should be under 45 years of age as of the appointment date.
