The preferred start date for successful candidates to join is 1st January 2027

• Teach undergraduate courses in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement
• Undertake research activities and publish in reputable Scopus-indexed journals
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching research and community engagement
• Develop and deliver innovative teaching methods that promote student-centered learning
• Supervise student projects and provide academic advising
• Contribute to accreditation quality assurance and program development initiatives
• Utilise modern educational technologies and digital learning platforms effectively

• Hold a Master/PhD in Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, from a university recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Sultanate of Oman.
• The candidate s master s degree cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) should be no less than 3.20 on a 4-point scale or equivalent.
• Candidates must have at least two years of higher education teaching experience in Computer Engineering at recognized institutions of higher education, post-PhD.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) or related Computer Engineering fields is highly desirable.
• Preference will be given to those with significant contributions to scientific research and published work in Computer Engineering.
• The candidate should be under 45 years of age as of the appointment date.
