OHI Electronics is seeking an enthusiastic and safety-conscious Omani graduate to join our team as a Junior HSE Officer.
This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates and candidates with basic field exposure,
HSE internship experience, completed training programmes, safety watcher experience, or up to two years of HSE experience.
The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across the company’s operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct routine site inspections and identify hazards.
- Lead daily toolbox talks and support internal safety audits, verify the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a high level of safety awareness among workers on-site.
- Assist in investigating minor incidents and near-misses, prepare accurate initial reports, and track corrective actions.
- Serve as a communication link between site personnel, contractors, and management to communicate HSE policies and encourage a safe working culture.
- Assist in maintaining safety registers, emergency response plans, training logs, and HSE records.
- This vacancy is being recruited in accordance with applicable Omanisation requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fresh graduate or up to two years of HSE experience.
- Internships, graduate training programmes, and safety watcher experience are accepted.
- Basic knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Fluent in written & spoken Arabic and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Valid Oman driving licence preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS:
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or OSHA 30-Hour certification is preferred. Candidates willing to complete a relevant certification during the probation period may also apply.
