ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

As an Environmental Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and monitoring systems that reduce environmental impact and ensure compliance with regulations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.

As a Environmental Engineer
, you will:

• Conduct environmental assessments and audits
• Develop and implement waste management, pollution control, and sustainability programs
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on environmental initiatives

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in any industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing and implementing environmental aspects in projects, operations, production in the oil and gas petro-chemical industries.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management.
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor
• Any other HSE certificates would be an added advantage.

Expertise/Skills/Competencies

• Have strong understanding of the Environmental issues, practices in the Oil & Gas operations/EPC business.
• Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement Environment Management Plans
• Ability to conduct Environmental Monitoring
• Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant Environment related procedures and standards
• Ability to conduct Environment audits and inspections.
• Ability to investigate environment related incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
• Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
