Chief Technology Officer; CTO- Industrial manufacturing

This is a full-time on-site role as a Chief Technology Officer ( CTO ) located in Muscat. The CTO will be responsible for defining and implementing the company’s technology and industrial strategy, leading the technical setup of the factory, and ensuring the integration of engineering processes across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and composite manufacturing. The role includes overseeing technology transfer from OEM partners, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, ISO), and managing the technical roadmap from initial production ramp-up to mass manufacturing.

Daily responsibilities include cross-functional coordination with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams, as well as direct engagement in factory layout, equipment commissioning, and certification processes.

• Proven experience in industrial manufacturing or engineering leadership, ideally in wind energy, aerospace, or heavy equipment sectors
• Deep understanding of nacelle, hub, blade, or tower production processes, including composite manufacturing and mechanical assembly
• Expertise in factory setup, process design, and industrial technology implementation
• Familiarity with IEC 61400 standards and quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Proficiency in technology licensing, product industrialization, and scaling of production
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage
• Experience working with international OEMs and knowledge of technology transfer protocols is a plus
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or Chinese is an asset
