• Provide support to the Director on formulating feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Provide support to top management with regards to tender stage to ensure all documentation are without gaps and in an timely manner.
• Provide support to top management in the tender technical evaluation process to ensure the right contractor is chosen.
• Review project equipment, materials and drawings submitted by contractors to ensure they are as per client’s/Company specifications. Make recommendations to fix any deviations.
• Perform site inspections on a daily basis to follow-up on work progress ensuring that work progress is carried out as per the approved equipment, materials, and drawings and to ensure work is in line with the scheduled time.
• Responsible for site working method approval.
• Review schedule reports, progress reports on each project to ensure efficient and high standard implementation. Review progress payments submitted by contractors to ensure that payments are against actual progress.
• Identify and analyze critical path activities and contribute to developing mobilization and demobilization plans to meet the requirements, needs and direction of the project management.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, health and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined construction area to guarantee employee safety, site security, legislative compliance, delivery of high‑quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients on the work in progress including agreeing specifications and standards, equipment, supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of completed works.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with consultants and contractors to ensure that due attention and care are given to Company’s requests and requirements.
• Set commissioning date and time, followed by reviewing the same and approving the commissioning report.
• Inspect project post commissioning along with both consultant and contractor to produce snag list and follow up with the same for compilation in time.
• Receive of completion certificate from various consultant followed by obtaining the necessary permits from the competent authorities.
• Hand over the project (subject to completion) to operation department in coordination with the project management team and project consultants, ensuring all contractual terms are met for projects in the allocated areas and follow up with snag list to ensure the validity and availability of all documents, manuals, Keys, Certificates, and reports.
• Communicate and follow up with utilities providers, competent authorities (Electricity, water, sewage etc.) and Civil Defense authority to obtain and update the needed approvals, permits and certification.
• Ensure that plant’s facilities, systems, HVAC...etc. are as per the competent authorities’ standards and requirements.
• Ensure all related activities are carried out according to Company Oman policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in other related projects and initiatives as assigned or other duties as assigned by line manager.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified scheduling program such as PRIMAVERA.
• Certified project planning professional such as PM, PMP.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience of which 3 to 5 as a project manager role.
