- Execute the pipeline engineering technical detailed design scope and endeavour to bring out the best practices and approaches to deliver the technical requirements.
- Prepare the necessary documentation, establishing major methods and data as necessary, and ensure the selection of the optimum pipeline design from both technical and economic standpoints.
- Ensure that design method, standards, and data used conform to asset owners' requirements and/or those issued by Centre of Excellence.
- Ensure the preparation of the pipeline and stress analysis philosophy document incorporating user requirements.
- In consultation with project delivery skill‑pool, assign appropriate pipeline engineering resources and monitor performance to ensure all pipeline engineering deliverables are accomplished.
- Be responsible for the coordination, execution, cross country (>100 km), size (>20"). and progress of pipeline engineering design.
- Be responsible for the accuracy of pipeline layouts, standards, and isometrics.
- Be responsible for stress analysis of all pipeline as per company procedures and/or approved international practices.
- Be responsible for technical accuracy, quality, and economy of pipeline engineering applications design.
- Liaise with vendor's peers representatives and other functions on all matters relating to pipeline engineering design and execution.
- Ensure OQ safety and quality control procedures are followed during the execution of all work and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all design work.
- Participate pre and post contract award in discussions with asset owners to assess and assist in the definition of user requirements.
- Analyse pipeline engineering deliverables and participate in project reviews and workshops.
- Participate in solving specific pipeline engineering challenges that are recognised during the development of the front end package or detailed engineering.
- Identify specific gaps in existing practices and tools and manage the process of developing new practices or toolkit items that enhance OQ technological offerings.
- Conduct or supervise site inspection for accuracy of pipeline and equipment including mechanical walk‑downs.
- Be responsible for the coordination, execution, and progress of pipeline engineering design.
- Report any breaches of safety procedures to supervision/management.
- Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, and ensure personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
- Other relevant duties as requested from time to time.

Experience- Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects
- Engineering degree with relevant certification
- Experience in refinery and petrochemical projects preferred
