Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of GISsolutions using ESRI technologies in line with business requirements.
- Provide expert advice on geospatial strategies, system architecture, and best practices.
- Manage and maintain GIS platforms, including ArcGIS Server,ArcGIS Online, and Portal for ArcGIS.
- Oversee spatial data management, ensuring accuracy,integrity, and security of GIS databases.
- Develop and optimize GIS applications, tools, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Integrate GIS solutions with enterprise systems, including
Oracle and SQL Server databases. - Conduct advanced spatial analysis and produce high-qualitymaps, reports, and visualizations.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into GIS solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior GIS staffand team members.
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance of GIS services.
- Stay updated with emerging GIS technologies and recommendcontinuous improvements.
- Support project delivery by ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, presentations, and user training when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’sdegree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science,Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Preferredto hold Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and/or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certifications.
- ESRIcertification is an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimumof 5 years of professional experience working with ESRI products,including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and Portal forArcGIS.
- Minimumof 3 years of experience working with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
Job-Specific Knowledge &
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in ESRI products (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGISOnline, Portal for ArcGIS, and related tools).
- Experience in Oracle and SQL Server database management.
- Abilityto work independently on assigned projects as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Abilityto communicate GIS requirements effectively to non-GIS professionals.
- Knowledge of servers and network infrastructureadministration.
