Graduate safety engineer (Omanization role – Omani nationals only)This is an entry-level Graduate Safety Engineer position aimed at developing fresh or early-career engineers. The role involves working under supervision to apply fundamental engineering principles while gaining practical exposure to safety engineer industry standards, regulations, and project execution practices.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day engineering activities, including data collection, preparation of technical documents and deliverables, and participation in design reviews and peer checks. The role also involves assisting in identifying technical issues, evaluating possible solutions, and providing recommendations to senior engineers.
In addition, the Graduate Safety Engineer will contribute to project execution by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project scope, timelines, and quality requirements are met. The role includes exposure to procurement activities such as preparing material specifications, reviewing vendor documents, and supporting bid evaluations. There may also be opportunities to assist with site activities including construction, commissioning, and operational support.
The candidate is expected to build effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors, while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality standards. This role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, adherence to engineering best practices, and development of professional competencies within a structured learning environment.
Qualification requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or process engineering
- Basic understanding of engineering standards, codes, and industry practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
