Responsibilities
- Review and develop metrology, calibration, and metering standards, specifications, and technical documents.
- Identify gaps and introduce updated procedures aligned with international standards.
- Oversee meter calibration processes, calibration benches, and accuracy verification.
- Support flow measurement campaigns and testing of new defective meters.
- Review vendor submissions, tender documents, and provide technical metrology inputs.
- Lead meter approval processes, including testing and factory audits.
- Conduct technical and quality audits for meters and suppliers; ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100
Metrology, ISO 17025, and ANSI Z540 standards. - Participate in commissioning, asset rehabilitation, HAZOP, and value engineering projects.
- Ensure metering systems meet accuracy, GIS, and operational requirements.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Office, Oracle, and MDM systems.
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent.
- 20 years of total experience, including 15 years in water/wastewater.
- Strong knowledge of metrology and international standards.
- Experience in technical writing, auditing, and calibration systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
