Responsibilities
- Identify and develop HVAC retrofit project opportunities through site surveys, client interactions and market analysis.
- Analyze RFQs, tenders and technical specifications; prepare bid compliance and techno‑commercial proposals.
- Perform cooling load calculations and equipment selection for HVAC systems.
- Design and propose energy‑efficient retrofit solutions with cost‑benefit analysis.
- Actively pursue sales by engaging with consultants, contractors and end clients. Develop and manage key accounts, ensuring long‑term business relationships and client satisfaction.
- Handle complete sales cycle including lead generation, proposal submission, negotiation and order finalization.
- Conduct technical presentations and solution discussions with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide application engineering support, installation guidance and post‑sales coordination with service teams.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure timely collection of advance and milestone payments.
- Liaise and coordinate with overseas principals suppliers for technical and commercial support.
- Monitor sales pipeline, forecasting and CRM updates. Achieve targets related to order booking, revenue, client retention and new business development.
- Manage inventory planning and sales forecasting.
- Prepare MIS reports and management updates ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years experience in HVAC sales, retrofit projects or application engineering.
- Proven experience in handling HVAC projects across sectors such as commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, malls and industrial facilities.
- Hands‑on experience in load calculations and equipment selection using tools like Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE or similar software.
- Ability to manage client relationships, key accounts and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in liaising with consultants, contractors and overseas principals.
- Knowledge of energy codes, green building standards and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office and sales reporting systems.
- Relevant certifications such as LEED AP or PE will be an added advantage.
