Steel Designer; AutoCAD Expert

Company Description - We are looking for an experienced steel designer with strong knowledge of Auto Cad

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) for structural and steel design, including detailing of beams, columns, connections, and assemblies.
• Solid understanding of structural steel design principles, fabrication processes, and erection methods, with the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience producing shop drawings, general arrangement drawings, and bills of materials, with careful attention to accuracy and constructability.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations related to structural steel (regional and international standards preferred).
• Strong analytical, math, and spatial visualization skills to translate concepts and calculations into precise technical drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams, including the ability to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain version control of drawings.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Prior experience in steel detailing or structural drafting within construction, industrial, or logistics-related projects is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with additional design/drafting or steel detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures, Revit, or similar) is an advantage.
