Senior Projects Engineer - Waterproofing & Polyurea; Hands

AL SAIFI CONTRACTINGis seeking aTechnical Field Leaderwho thrives on the ground. We need aSenior Projects Engineer with proven expertise in Polyurea spray applications and

Integrated Combo Waterproofing systems(roofs, tanks, basements, and floors) who is ready to lead from the front.

This is NOT a desk job.

You will be on-site, managing complex multi-layer applications, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring flawless execution across diverse substrates.

• Lead from the Front:Direct all on-site activities for
  Combo Waterproofing
  (integrated liquid + sheet systems) and
  Polyurea coating
  projects. You will be the primary technical authority on the ground.
• Master Hybrid Systems:Oversee the seamless integration of
  Combo Waterproofing
  across various sectors:
• Roofs:Liquid membranes + Sheet membranes + Polyurea topcoats.
• Basements & Tunnels:Cementitious + Bentonite + Polyurea injection.
• Tanks & Containment:Epoxy primers + Polyurea linings.
• Ensure proper bonding and surface prep between different material types to prevent delamination.
• Hands-On Application:Direct equipment setup (plural-component sprayers), chemical mixing, and application techniques. You will step in to assist applicators and troubleshoot immediate technical issues.
• Quality Control:Perform rigorous on-site testing (wet/dry film thickness, adhesion pull-off, holiday detection, seam integrity) to ensure zero defects in complex composite systems.
• Technical Troubleshooting:Solve challenges related to humidity, temperature, substrate movement, and chemical compatibility across all waterproofing types.
• Team & Safety:Lead site crews and subcontractors. Enforce strict
  HSE protocols
  for high-pressure spraying and chemical handling.
• Client Liaison:Act as the technical face of the company, explaining the value of
  Combo Waterproofing
  solutions to clients and consultants.

• Must Have:5+ years of
  hands-on experience
  in
  Polyurea spray applications
  AND
  Integrated/Combo Waterproofing systems
  (Roof, Tank, or Basement).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Deep expertise in
  TDS/SDS
  , surface prep for mixed substrates (concrete, steel, asphalt), and bonding techniques for
  hybrid systems
  .
• Site Ready:Willing and able to work long hours on construction sites, in heat, and in challenging environments.
  No "desk-only" candidates.
• Leadership:Proven ability to command respect on-site and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Education:Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical certification).
• Location:GCC experience highly preferred. Valid driver's license required.
