Senior Site Engineer-C&I

WSP seeks a Senior Site Engineer I & C to oversee electrical, instrumentation & control, metering & monitoring, telecommunication, cyber security, fire detection, and security system installations for pipeline, closed/open cycle gas turbine, and substation projects.

• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify correct and safe construction and installation processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Prepare project progress reports, documentation, and as‑built drawings for client review and approval.
• Lead project management aspects of I & C activities from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, design specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site documents (method statements, installation drawings, testing procedures).
• Provide technical support during construction, resolving issues and discrepancies, and facilitating design reviews.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical and I & C installations, perform testing and commissioning (loop checks, function tests, system performance verification).
• Document and report non‑conformances; coordinate corrective actions and issue Non‑Compliance Reports (NCR).
• Coordinate interfacing issues between contractors and prevent re‑work.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Verify that all installations comply with national and international codes (NEC, IEC) and maintain accurate inspection records.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and I & C inspection, preferably in pipeline or oil & gas.
• Proven knowledge of pipeline project standards, closed/open cycle gas turbine, and substation projects.
• In‑depth understanding of electrical and I & C systems, including control systems, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes and ability to interpret technical documents.
