Key Responsibilities
Inspect civil and structural construction works, including earthworks, excavation, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel, roads, drainage, and utility works.
Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.
Conduct inspections for reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, structural steel erection, and finishing works.
Witness site and laboratory testing activities and review test results.
Review inspection requests (IRs), RFIs, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conformities and monitor corrective actions.
Prepare daily inspection reports, site observations, and progress reports.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, QA/QC personnel, and project stakeholders.
Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and site safety procedures.
Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
RequirementsDiploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural construction inspection.
Experience in building, infrastructure, road, bridge, railway, utility, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and inspection practices.
Familiarity with international standards such as ACI, ASTM, BS, or equivalent.
Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
