Project Control Specialist

Job responsibilities:

• The Project Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the project schedule, ensuring that all activities are planned and executed in accordance with the approved timeline.
• Will monitor progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions for the Contracts.
• Cost control management.
• Active participation in the project change management process – between CONTRACTOR(S) and PCM and between PCM and the Client.
• Project reporting – as per the project requirements.
• Creating and periodically updating the project Earn Value Management (EVM) system, which should be based on physical quantities.
• All other activities, which are associated with those responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably a postgraduate qualification, in civil/marine engineering.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Project Control and Schedule Management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Project Track Record: Must have worked in a similar capacity on at least two (2) port projects of a similar nature.
• Core Expertise: Strong background and proven expertise in project control, project planning, and scheduling for large infrastructure developments.

  High proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
