ATMTA is establishing a High Precision Training, Research, Development, and Production Center for the energy sector. We will manufacture mission critical, precision engineered components for the Energy industry, built to perform under extreme pressure, temperature, and corrosion where failure is not an option, machined and tested to the highest precision and made intelligent with embedded sensing and AI.

We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, on site in Muscat, to own the production process that turns exotic alloy into the critical components the oil and gas sector depends on.

Own the production process end to end, from raw forging to qualified, finished part.

• Own the production machining process for critical oil and gas components, including valves, wellheads, trees, manifolds, and flow control equipment, from forging or bar to finished, qualified part
• Program and optimize DMG MORI multi axis turn mill (NTX, CTX TC) and mill turn (DMU, DMC) machines, and equivalent tier one platforms such as Mazak, Okuma, Hermle, or GROB, in CAM such as hyperMILL or NX
• Engineer to the governing product codes, API 6A (wellhead and tree equipment), API 6D and 6
  
  DSS (pipeline and subsea valves), and API 600 and 602 (gate valves), with valve dimensions to ASME B16.34, flanges to ASME B16.5 and B16.47, and tolerancing to ASME Y14.5
• Apply the targeted material specifications, ASTM A182 (F22, F51, F55, F6NM), A105, A350 LF2, A694 (F60, F65), A479, and A564 (17-4PH), with Inconel 718 to ASTM B637 and Inconel 625 to ASTM B446, and sour service to NACE MR0175 (ISO 15156)
• Own routings, work instructions, cycle time, fixturing, and tooling strategy under API Q1, and run first article inspection and proof of process to qualification, with valve testing to API 598
• Build quality in at the source with capability studies and statistical process control
• Develop apprentice manufacturing engineers through structured on the job training, transferring CAM, process, and metrology know how
• Define competency milestones and qualify apprentices to skill standards, turning new hires into production ready engineers

• You have engineered machining processes in a live production environment, not a lab or a prototype shop
• DMG MORI expertise is highly preferred; you are strong in multi axis CAM and tooling on DMG MORI or tier one platforms
• You are fluent in API, ASME, and ASTM, working to specific codes such as API 6A, API 6D, ASME B16.34, and ASME Y14.5, with materials to ASTM A182 and equivalents
• You machine corrosion resistant and high strength alloys, and you respect what they demand
• You have taken new products through first article to qualification in a certified shop
• You enjoy developing people, and you can turn an apprentice into a capable engineer
• You hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent depth
• Bonus points for oil and gas, valves, wellheads, or subsea components
• Fluency in English required
