Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review geotechnical investigation reports, borehole logs, laboratory testing results, and geological assessments.
• Evaluate subsurface conditions and provide recommendations for foundation systems and ground improvement measures.
• Review geotechnical analyses, including bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, liquefaction potential, and soil–structure interaction.
• Verify compliance with the Contract requirements, applicable codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with structural, marine, and civil engineering disciplines to resolve geotechnical issues.
• Provide technical advice on construction risks associated with soil and geological conditions.
• Review design revisions and prepare technical recommendations and review reports.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide specialist geotechnical support throughout the project.

• ns Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) or Geolog
• y.A postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or equivalent is preferre
• d.Minimum of 15 years of cumulative professional experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geolog
• y.Minimum of 10years of experience in geotechnical investigation, foundation engineering, ground improvement, and geotechnical design for marine, industrial, or infrastructure project
• s.Experience in at least 2 projects of similar size and complexity in a comparable rol
• e.Familiar with international geotechnical investigation standards and foundation design practice
• s.Excellent written and spoken English communication skill
