Job responsibilities- Manage, coordinate, and integrate BIM models from all Contractors into a federated BIM model, ensuring alignment across civil, structural, marine, mechanical, electrical, and materials‑handling systems.
- Ensure all BIM models comply with Client's Requirements, design criteria, project standards, and the DBF contract specifications.
- Review Contractor BIM submissions for completeness, accuracy, correct metadata, and compliance with approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Verify that interface points between disciplines are properly coordinated and resolved in the federated model.
- Lead and manage BIM-based clash detection, identifying conflicts across all disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, marine, equipment foundations).
- Ensure Contractors address and close out all clashes through structured workflows.
- Conduct constructability and sequencing reviews to support safe and efficient construction planning.
- Review and monitor monthly BIM progress updates submitted by Contractors and provide consolidated progress reports to the Client.
- Ensure that validated redline drawings, site records, and construction modifications are incorporated into the BIM model accurately and progressively.
- All other activities, which are associated with those responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- The BIM Modeling Engineer must have a minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience in BIM modeling for large infrastructure projects and must have worked in a similar capacity on at least two (2) port projects of a similar nature.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
