Overview
Senior Renewable Energy Technical & Commercial Manager. Marmol Integrated LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineer to lead technical, commercial, and project activities across utility-scale solar PV, wind energy, hydraulic studies, geospatial surveys, drone inspection, and digital-engineering solutions. The candidate must be able to lead technical discussions, review RFQs and engineering requirements, prepare technical and commercial proposals, develop project-cost estimates, negotiate contracts, manage multidisciplinary teams, and generate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities- Lead technical and commercial discussions with developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, consultants, O&M providers, utilities, and asset owners.
- Review RFQs, specifications, methodologies, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, schedules, pricing, and margin calculations.
- Manage projects from enquiry and award through execution and closeout.
- Coordinate engineering, survey, drone, GIS, vendor, and subcontractor teams.
- Develop new clients, projects, partnerships, and technical services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in utility-scale solar PV, wind energy, or renewable-energy projects.
- Strong technical experience in solar PV.
- Practical experience in at least two of the following:
- Wind energy
- Hydraulic or drainage studies
- Topographic or GIS surveys
- Drone inspection
- Remote sensing
- Asset digitalization
- Proven experience in technical and commercial proposals, project costing, pricing, tendering, negotiations, and project management.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Willingness to relocate to Muscat and travel regionally and internationally.
- NABCEP PV System Inspector or equivalent solar PV inspection qualification.
- Infrared Thermography Level I or Level II certification.
- Practical knowledge of IEC 62446-1, IEC 62446-2, and IEC 62446-3.
- TÜV or equivalent solar PV inspection, commissioning, O&M, or quality-assurance certification.
- Experience in drone-based thermal inspection, RGB inspection, GIS defect mapping, IV-curve testing, electroluminescence testing, or solar asset-performance analysis.
- Experience with PVSyst, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, HEC-RAS, WindPRO, Pix4D, DJI Terra, or equivalent software.
- Existing relationships with developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, or O&M providers in GCC or international markets.
