Draftsman Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draughtsman for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for mechanical components and systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to interpret and translate engineering specifications into accurate drawings.

• Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints and schematics for mechanical components, equipment and systems using CAD software.
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications and sketches to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Revise and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders.
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, regulations and project specifications.
• Maintain drawing files, documentation and records in an organized manner.
• Assist in the preparation of material lists, cost estimates and other project documentation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work and meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and industry best practices.

• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T).
• Knowledge of Solid Works & AutoCAD.
• Experience:
