Job Summary
The Rotating Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the integrity, reliability, and compliance of rotating equipment in oil and gas facilities. The role involves carrying out inspections in accordance with international standards, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring all equipment meets client specifications, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and associated machinery.
Verify maintenance, repair, and installation activities comply with project specifications and international standards.
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and condition assessments of rotating equipment.
Review maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM, and other applicable industry standards.
Identify equipment defects, recommend corrective actions, and monitor repairs.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams during inspections and shutdown activities.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with client HSE policies and company quality procedures.
Support reliability improvement and asset integrity initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 15 years of experience, including 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region (OR) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 20 years of experience, including 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region.
Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM, and other applicable international standards.
Experience in rotating equipment inspection within upstream oil & gas facilities.
