- Owner’s Engineer or equivalent Lender’s Technical Adviser experience on at least three (3) utility-scale renewable energy projects (Wind and/or Solar PV, each of at least 100 MW capacity) that have reached Commercial Operation Date within the last ten (10) years;
- Experience working on Independent Power Projects (IPPs) structured under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a national or regional Off-taker, including familiarity with PPA testing, commissioning and performance guarantee regimes;
- Design review or construction supervision experience on grid substation and transmission interconnection works (132 kV or above), including interfacing with a national/regional transmission system operator .
- Demonstrated regional experience in the Sultanate of Oman and/or the wider GCC is preferred, including familiarity with the Oman Local regulation and Grid Code requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering; minimum 10 years’ experience in wind turbine technology, including design review, erection supervision and commissioning;
- Familiarity with IEC 61400-12-1 and MEASNET performance testing standards.
- Full-time supervision of Wind Turbine erection, Inter Array Grid installation and Ambient Conditions Measurement Facilities;
- Witness Wind Turbine commissioning tests and Reliability Runs and coordinate the independent-expert Wind Plant Performance Test (AEP verification) post-SCOD.
